  • If it is not specified that it is included in the price, an additional £50 deep cleaning fee will always be charged.
  • The person or family hiring out the hall is responsible for performing light and general cleaning in the kitchen and hall, For instance making sure the kitchen, worktops and gas cookers has been cleaned and wiped down, any plastic plates have been properly disposed of, the waste has been taken out and put in the designated area, and the tables and chairs have been folded away against the wall.
  • Ensure any damage is reported to management as soon as possible.
  • Only Vegetarian food permitted onsite, no alcohol, meat, or egg-containing products will be consumed on the premises.
  • If the sponsor or Yajman are cooking the food themselves, they need to make sure that all personal items have been taken out of the fridge and that any used oil has been properly disposed of.
  • If the temple is providing the food, we nave 2 packages: £150 -(Only available if you’re sponsoring a planned Mandir event, such as Masik Shivratri) this food consists of Daal, roti, and a sweet dish. If the family chooses this option, this caters for 100 people, and they are required to perform Sewa like helping to clean and helping prepare food. £300- This caters for 100 people. Food will be Daal, Seasonal Sabzi, Roti or Puri, Sweet Dish and Raita. If additional food or non-seasonal sabzi such as Paneer is required, the Yajman must provide the additional ingredients. There is a charge of £100 for each additional 50 people to cook for. E.g. £400 for 150 people, £500 for 200 people ect.
  • Only members of Hindu Temple Geeta Bhawan Derby are eligible for a 10% discount on hall hire.
  • if the temple is open and you are hiring the hall for a private event, please refrain from playing Inappropriate music that promotes illegal substances like alcohol, drugs, and weapons
  • Hall hiring times are flexible and up to management’s discretion.
  • There is no charge for Hall hire if It Is used after Antam Sanskar (After the Funeral Service).

Cost: £50 + £50 Cleaning Charge

Option 3: Small Function Hall For Hire (Afternoon Session 4PM Till 8PM)

Cost: £50 + £50 Cleaning Charge

Option 4: Small Function Hall For Hire (2 Hour Slot For Social Events, Conferences etc.)

Cost: £25 per hour

Option 5: Small Function Hall For Hire (2 Hour Slot for regular use - Dance, Educational classes etc.)

Cost: £10 per hour

Main Hall

Community Service

Option 1: Main Function Hall For Hire (All Day From 9AM TIlI 8pm)

Cost: £200 + £50 Cleaning Charge

Option 2:Main Function Hall For Hire (Morning only, from 9AM TIll 1pm)

Cost: £100 + £50 Cleaning Charge

Option 3: Main Function Hall For Hire (Afternoon only, From 4pm-8pm)

cost: £100+ 150 cleaning charge

Option 4: Small Function Hall For Hire (2 Hour Slot For Soclal Events, Conferences etc)

Cost: £25 per hour

Option 5: Main Function Hall For Hire (2 Hour Slot For Regular Users – Dance Classes, Yoga Etc)

Cost: £20 per hour

Kitchen Use

Option 1: Pujas, Kirtans, Bhajans, etc.

Cost: £150 (Kitchen Only) + £50 Cleaning Charge

Additional charges apply for other items like disposable plates, cutlery, and cups.

Option 2: Chowkies, Jagarans

Cost: £150 (Kitchen Only) + £50 Cleaning Charge

Additional charges apply for other items like disposable plates, cutlery, and cups.

Option 3: Masik Shivratri

Cost: £150 (Kitchen Only) + £50 Cleaning Charge

Option 4: Other Religious Functions

Option 5: Food prepared by temple staff

Cost: £350–£500 (100–200 people)
